She is very lovable and would enjoy a home where someone is there to include her, love her and give her the attention she deserves and desires. This girl does not appear to be almost 8 years old. Cara has a low grade heart murmur which does not require medication at this time. She still needs to lose a few more pounds. She will also need to continue a healthy diet and exercise program. Cara is nervous around small children but older children who are respectful of dogs would be considered. Cara was used for breeding and also needed to be spayed and needed many teeth extracted because of neglected dental care.Ĭara is a super friendly, lovable girl who just loves her person. She has already lost 4 lbs in a few short weeks with daily walks and a healthy diet. She was very over weight when rescued and full of ticks. It was obvious that Cara did not have regular exercise. Too cute!Ĭara and her partner Caesar came from an owner/breeder as the result of a divorce. We've added some photos of Cara in the pool with her swim vest. She's a lovely girl.Ĭara's foster mom found out that Cara loves to swim and has been burning off some of that extra weight doing laps with her foster mom. She does love to eat so her foster mom must watch to keep her out of the other dogs' bowls. She now weighs 20 lbs and is looking quite svelt. Cara has lost a total of about 7 lbs since she came to Lucky Star.
